Read India Foundation (RIF) was established in the year 2008. Flagged off with around 10 members,
it now boasts of over 50 volunteers with several donors/well-wishers/benefactors.
We aim at reaching out to underprivileged children and empowering them with education to be able to lay the foundation for a sound future.
In order to achieve this, RIF scopes out a school in and around the suburb of Bangalore city taking into the consideration different parameters
like the current condition of the school, shortcomings of the school in terms of education and infrastructure etc.
RIF addresses these shortcomings prioritizing them by working in tandem with the schools' administration.
To uphold the belief that education is a social responsibility and every child’s right,
RIF is collaboratively working with Karnataka Education Department in recognizing schools that require support from our side.
We believe that it is imperative to provide opportunities and a path for positive change together with focus on formal education
